With over twenty years of experience as a Director and Senior Manager in fashion and hospitality positions that cross-sector Human Resources, Operations, and Sales, Brenda Magee Tyson has cultivated a wide variety of skills that helped to develop her understanding of human behavior, development, and organizational structure. Brenda’s work experience, coupled with a bachelor’s degree in Sociology and Organizational Studies from Pitzer College, has built a strong foundation for her understanding of business hierarchy, company structure and professional development. She’s a perceptive analytical thinker who enjoys training, development, problem solving and organizational planning. Her most recent work has been as a Career Coach and Human Resources Business Partner for micro businesses, creative agencies, and individuals. As a continuous learner she keeps her skills current by taking continuing education classes and attending lectures on topics including Sexual Harassment: Workplace Investigations, Inclusion, Diversity and Workplace Compliance. Brenda has designed and implemented business organizational systems, developed job descriptions, managed recruiting and hiring, and guided nearly 200 individuals into positions at the nation’s leading corporations, including Amblin Entertainment, Google bare Mineral, FedEx, Johnson and Johnson, HBO, Host International Inc., NBC Universal, Marriott International, Nordstrom, Revlon, Spotify, and United Airlines.
